The client wanted us to build a common online bidding and messaging platform for Customers and Contractors to rent, buy or lease building tools and construction materials. Website allows Customers and contractors to register and perform their own roles & responsibilities.

Weko.ch built in PHP allows users to register on the website to buy/lease products; however users can place an order without login too. One of the key challenges of the website was the creation of two main entities for online bidding process - Customer and Contractor. Contractors can browse projects and can bid on the required project placed by Customer.
Werko.ch website allows Contractors to list their projects in specified category after registering and creating an account on the online bidding platform. At the same time, it allows contractors to bid on specific projects and perform relevant tasks such as managing workers profile, projects, etc. besides allowing Contractors to subscribe to appropriate payment package to be able to bid on any of the posted projects.
The website comes with customizable bidding categories completely manageable from admin panel, integrated with PayPal & Six payment services. The currency format used throughout the site is "CHF (Swiss Franc)".
Werko.ch comes with location sensing abilities based on region using web services. Customers can also make ZIP code based distance searches based on zip code database. A multilingual website with front-end developed in German, French and Italian languages; and back-end Admin in English - the website Auto language detection is based on default browser language settings.
