Google Nexus 10 - The Best Choice

The release of Google's much awaited Android tablet “Nexus 10”, is just around the corner. After Apple iPad mini carried out a clean-sweep in the tablet market, now it's Google's turn to change the tables. Being a tablet enthusiast, I can say that, the flagship high-end android tablet of Google will adorn the advance technical marvels, courtesy of Samsung. As per the pre-launch information about the gadget, the device appears a special one, in terms of pricing at least.

After Google showcased the device, people started wondering how it will compete with the new fourth-gen iPad? But after getting the insight about the product, things became quite impressive.

Starting with the Nexus 10's display, the device didn't reach upto the expectations, when compared with the Apple tablet. However, after watching the video on the large screen, you find the device ideal, as there were no black bars above and below the video. This also indicates that Nexus 10 will offer a nice viewing experience to the gaming enthusiasts, in comparison with iPad.

Getting on-to the measurement part, the device is 0.35 inch thick and weighs 1.33 pounds, thus it is thinner and lighter than the nearest competitor. The device runs on Google's operating system, Android 4.2 and powered by Samsung’s 1.7GHz Exynos 5 dual-core CPU with 2GB of RAM.

Now, for picture and video, the Nexus 10 incorporates front and rear cameras, which are of 1.9 megapixels and 5 megapixels, respectively. This feature allows the user to enjoy Google+ Hangout video chat, but the quality of video is not exceptionally good. One of the features which I found interesting was the 360-degree panoramic images.

Talking about the sound quality of the device, the Google gadget comes with front-facing dual speakers similar to the ones found on the Galaxy Note 10.1. On this front, you can say that the speakers works fine and let the user enjoy the videos and games with good sound effects. The battery life of the device is nine hours.

In overall conclusion, the Nexus 10 is going to be a good buy which will be available at 16 GB for $399 or 32 GB for $499. Plus, the device comes with all the desired features & a stratospherically high resolution screen (its USP).
