The African Development Bank Group concluded its 2017 Annual Meetings in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad. This was the first time that the Annual Meetings of AfDB<\/strong> were held in India. The 2017 Annual Meetings focused on theme “Transforming Agriculture for Wealth Creation in Africa\u201d aimed at creating a greater synergy between India and Africa to achieve shared goal of rural and agricultural transformation. The AfDBAM event was inaugurated by Honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

Hidden Brains exhibited at this event to explore new avenues of partnerships aimed at addressing future needs and enhancing economic engagement for a greater synergy between India and Africa.<\/p>\n

This event was attended by over 3,500 top government officials, business leaders, representatives of NGOs, civil society, as well as members of the academic community and the media. There were several seminars, meetings and symposiums highlighting Bank\u2019s High 5 priorities \u2013 Light up and power Africa; Feed Africa; Industrialize Africa; Integrate Africa; and Improve the quality of life for the people of Africa.<\/p>\n
