As per a Korn Ferry<\/a> study, the world will have a global talent shortage of 85 million people by 2030 which would cost companies $8.5 trillion in unrealized annual revenues. AI and IoT play a major role in addressing labor challenges. They work together for driving productivity, efficiency, and sustainability across different sectors. Doing so helps to ensure that the job gets completed despite staff shortages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IoT does the same via IoT-enabled devices, such as fleet management software<\/a> or wearables, managers and leaders can easily identify when work is not being completed at job sites, or address issues in which projects or equipment can arise. In the past, such issues would have continued for days causing downtime or hold-up of projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another benefit of these technologies that come in the form of Cobots, is collaborative robots, which work alongside human workers, sharing tasks in a collaborative, complementary manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
