So, if the components are having reusability feature, then only they can be replaced by newer ones under CBSD process. According to software experts “reusability” is the essential property of software components and it should be well documented, sturdy testing, strong input validity checking, etc.

As the name it-self suggesting the whole concept, like (CBSD) component based software system which is mainly based on the functioning & features of the “components”, thus appropriate maintenance & development is critical.
